Requirements for footstones and monuments (April 16, 2016)

Sections A and C:
Raised bevel marker footstones only:

• 22 – 24” wide
• 10 – 12” deep
• 8” high with 6” above ground, 2” below ground

NOTE: Double raised footstones allowed in these sections.

Sections B and D:
Monuments only with or without FLUSH footstones:

Monument for single grave:

• 20 – 22” wide
• 28 – 30” high
• 8” deep
• BASE: 28 -30” wide, 8 -10” high and 14” deep.

Monument for 2 grave lot side by side:

• 40 – 42” wide
• 28 – 30” high
• 8” deep
• BASE: 50-54” wide, 8 -10” high and 14” deep.

Monument for 4 grave lot side by side:

• 48 – 60” wide
• 28 – 30” high
• 8” deep
• BASE: 60 – 78” wide,” 8 – 10” high, 14” deep.

Monument for 6 grave lot side by side:

• Up to 84” wide
• 30 -34” high
• Up to 10” deep
• BASE: 72 – 96” wide, 16” deep.

Flush footstones used with monuments to be : 22-24” in length x 10 – 12” in width.

Foundations will be set only from April 15 to November 15. Please send in your orders accordingly.

Larger monuments must be approved on an individual basis by the Cemetery Committee of Chizuk Amuno Congregation.
