Historic Congressional Cemetery is a traditional cemetery. There are no specific regulations for what type of monuments or markers may be used, although the maximum width for a memorial on a single plot is 36″, and on a double plot 72″. The cemetery consists of mostly single headstones, double headstones, and granite markers, though all types of memorials made out of granite, marble, and bronze, are allowed.
